AOC expands its product portfolio by adding LCD-TV and plasma devices
Expansion of product portfolio and international monitor market presence
Berlin, March 2004
– Following a longer suspension of the production of TV sets, AOC International (Europe) GmbH is now returning to this market. In the 1970s, AOC was one of the main exporters of TV sets in Taiwan. The new LCD TV sets vary in size from 17” to 30” and thus guarantee the preferred TV formats. AOC is presenting LCD TV sets with screens up to 40” and PDP devices from 42” to 50” for customers who want a larger format.
AOC International (Europe) GmbH produces these products with the same precision used for the computer monitors, and by expanding its product array aims to open up new potential from the growing home entertainment sector and to expand its international market presence.
The six new LCD-TV sets (screen sizes: 17”, 20”, 23”, 27”, 30” and 40”) and the 50” plasma are AOC International (Europe) GmbH’s advance presentation of its new, innovative plasma and LCD-TV product line. These products will not be available in stores until the second half of the year.
By adding these products, AOC enhances its traditional product portfolio with the customer segment “Consumer Electronics” and simultaneously enters a new visual age.
