AOC LM520 TFT – Small can be great

Berlin, 25 July 02 – AOC International (Europe) GmbH will launch a new 15“ LCD onto the market as of August 2002. It marks the start of a completely new LCD series which will follow in the next few months. The new LM520 captivates by means of its small dimensions and its high performance range. It does not take up much space with a width of just 356 mm and a depth of a mere 158 mm but it still has a commanding presence on your desk thanks to its high quality irradiation. Its modern two-tone housing exudes a touch of understatement at every work station and does, of course, correspond to the strict TC099 standard.

But it does not just look good. All the standard resolutions of 640 x 480 pixels to 1024 x 768 pixels are supported by modern electronics. It is recommended that the maximum resolution of 1024 x 768 is produced with a frame frequency of 60 Hz. In this process you have more 16.7 million colours at your disposal which generate an even image, which goes easy on your eyes, on the 2.35 million subpixels. The gaps between the individual pixels amount to 0.297mm. The LM520 is thus suitable for all standard office and private applications. The high contrast ratio of up to 350:1 makes it possible to use it at work stations, which possibly do not have perfect lighting conditions, without the image becoming illegible. The LM520 is an allround machine which has been designed for daily use in the office and also for the demanding private user. It also has a positive effect on your energy budget due to the fact that it has a maximum current consumption level of just 25 Watts. And this AOC display does, of course, also have an ISO134606-2 certificate.

AOC’s LM520 is an LCD with demanding technical properties combined with low energy and space requirements whilst also catering for people with a small budget. The RRP of the LM520, which will be available in all good retail outlets as of August, amounts to € 370.00 plus VAT.

AOC does justice to its market position in terms of its service offer which consists of a three year guarantee plus the assumption of costs for spare parts and labour as well as an on-site exchange service in a lot of European countries, in all the EU countries for instance, during the guarantee period of 36 months. Even though the failure rates of the AOC products are very low, it is, naturally, a matter of course that you shall receive a rapid and good level of service if the worst comes to the worst.
