AOC – New 17” Diamondtron TM Monitor

– AOC International (Europe) GmbH introduces a new monitor to the European market for May 2002. It is the newly developed 7A+, a 17” monitor with a naturally flat Diamondtron TM picture tube. The outstanding detail of the new device is without doubt its high contrast Diamondtron TM picture tube. Apart from excellent picture definition and extremely good colour reproduction the 7A+ also has a high performance when it comes to DVD rendition and games applications. The high contrast picture tube provides a more than adequate contrast ratio and the corresponding brightness for such a high quality application. But not only the entertainment oriented user will be able to appreciate the device’s qualities. Professionals and standard office users will also find the 7A+ to be a professional partner for their daily work. The horizontal scanning frequency of 95kHz together with the fine AG pitch of 0.25mm make crystal clear display of all common resolutions possible. The most frequently used resolutions on 17” monitors of 1024 x 768 and 1024 x 1280, can both be displayed with at least 85Hz. The ergonomic image refresh rate of 85Hz is also preset in the factory, except for 1200 x 1600 pixels. The simple on screen display (OSD) typical for AOC makes the adjustment and operation of the 7A+ a wonderful triviality. The user can quickly and easily navigate through the menu and adjust the image to their own personal wishes.
The RRP of the 7A+, available from May from good retail outlets, is € 229.00 plus VAT.
When it comes to service, AOC justifies its market position. A three year guarantee, covering the cost of spare parts and labour. As well as an on-site exchange service in many European countries, for example throughout the EU, throughout the 36 month guarantee period. Even though AOC products’ failure rates are very low, it is nevertheless more than natural that a fast and good service is made available if the worst comes to the worst.
