AOC presents 17“ monitors: new features for a better performance

Berlin, the 24th of Juli 2000 – AOC International (Europe) Ltd. has improved the 17“ monitors of their approved Spectrum series. The 7 VLR+ and 7 GLR have been certified to the norm TCO99. This guarantees a high measure of safety and ergonomics at the same favourable price. Both models will be available in August 2000.

7GLR and 7VLR+
Resulting in a perceptibly improved image quality, the dot pitch has been reduced from 0.28mm to 0.27mm ( 7 VLR+ ) and from 0.26mm to 0.25mm ( 7 GLR ). The profit the user draws from this improvement of the shadow mask is a distinct plus in sharpness of detail and contrast. AOC´s 17“ class offers first-rate ergonomic qualities. The 7 GLR in the new version has a horizontal scan rate of 95 kHz (current: 85 kHz). At a refresh rate of 85 Hz it achieves therecommended resolution 1280 x 1024. Featuring a resolution of 1024 x 768 at 85 Hz the 7 VLR+ qualifies - like its sister model - for the demanding corporate professional.
