10/2011 L'Ordinateur Individuel - Runner-up and Editor's Technical Choice Award : AOC e2352Phz, total score: 13/20 - Performance 14.2/20 , ahead of test winner (France)
This brand new AOC monitor comes with 3D passive technology, less complex than that of 120Hz active screens and a key advantage: its price of only 250€ instead of 450€ in average. Basic stand but acceptable finish, comprehensive connectivity. Original settings menu with well designed options. Brightness and contrast are slightly behind but the panel is the most reactive in the review and its default colour rendering is particularly satisfactory. Main drawback: fairly narrow viewing angles. The user needs to sit facing the monitor to avoid ghosting effects. Our tests in 3D have revealed better viewing angles than the LG and Zalman models. To the user ideally seated, this AOC delivers a lot less ghosting images than active 3D models. We only wish it would be Nvidia 3D compatible. Likes/Dislikes AOC e2352Phz We like... Image rendering, Virtually no perceptible ghosting effect, Price We don't like Basic stand, Fairly narrow viewing angles in 3D, Not Nvidia 3D Vision compatible.
10/2011 Computer Shopper - 3/5 Stars (UK)
The e2352Phz has reasonable image quality, but you pay a definite premium for its 3D support.
09/2011 pcextra.com.tr - Successful (Turkey)
e2343F2 is very thin and light. Its delicate design doesn´t bring any technical added value but gives you a lot of free space in your working environment. Its low energy consumption and good image quaity are especially notable. The elegant design of this monitor is particularly highlighted by its invisible-touch-buttons on the stand.
09/2011 chip.com.tr (Turkey)
Result: Low energy consumption, high contrast ratios and its thin design are very praiseworthy. However, it could be better in terms of 3D.
09/2011 Micro Hebdo - Price/Performance : 9,7 p., "excellent", 3rd Place (France)
Here is a nice representative of the passive/polarized 3D technology. It offers good image quality and response time and its 3D rendering is more than acceptable, in spite of narrow viewing angles. On top of this, it comes out as the less expensive model in the review. Only drawback: it's not compatible with nVidia's 3D Vision technology.
09/2011 Oyungezer - 4/5 Stars (Turkey)
This delicate passive/polarized 3D monitor has a simple design with invisible touch-buttons. Fairly successful performance by viewing pictures and videos. However, this monitor leads to headaches and tiredness.
