Office all-rounders – AOC introduces new business displays

[ 20-10-11 ]

Dorsten, 20 October 2011 – AOC expands its business portfolio, presenting two new Full HD models with LED backlights. The e2219Ph and the e2436Pa, both from AOC’s Professional Line, come in a classic, black and silver design. The widescreens offer a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with a screen diagonal of 55.8 cm/ 22″ and 61 cm/24″ respectively.

Excellent image quality for a great viewing experience
Large displays let users always see “the big picture”, as they offer enough space for complex calculations, word processing and image editing. Full HD resolution, high brightness (250 cd/m2) and contrast values (1,000:1 / 20,000,000:1) interplay to produce vivid colours and crystal clear outlines. Due to wide viewing angles (170°/160°), the picture keeps its brilliance from almost every perspective. A fast response time of 5 milliseconds minimises blurring and ensures high definition even in action-packed videos and gaming sequences.

Ergonomic adaptability that meets every demand
Both models impress with an extremely ergonomic design and are tiltable (-5°/~+20°), height adjustable (by 11 cm) as well as swivel-mounted – permitting quick presentations in your office easily. The pivot function enables both monitors to be positioned in portrait format within seconds. This extraordinary flexibility provides high comfort for any given workstation.

With a typical contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a dynamic contrast of 20,000,000:1, the e2219Ph delivers clear cut images in the 16:10 format. A D-Sub port as well as two digital inputs (DVI-D and HDMI) offer a wide array of connections to the user – no more cumbersome plugging and unplugging of signal sources. The On-Screen-Display (OSD) and integrated speakers are controlled via five keys discreetly located underneath the bezel.

The 24 inch monitor offers 16:9 as well as the classic 5:4 output. Its large display can be divided into four or nine separate areas with the integrated Screen+ software. In addition to D-Sub and DVI-D ports, the e2436Pa also comes with an USB socket for easy connection of mobile devices. Touch keys enable a comfortable adjustment of monitor and speaker configurations.

Both models support digital copy protection (HDCP). The energy-saving LED technology is easy on the wallet and the environment with less than 30 watts power consumption in standard operation mode (less than 0.5 watts in standby). AOC fulfills numerous international energy standards, such as EPEAT Silver, Energy Star 5.0 or TCO 5.0. In addition, AOC’s LED displays are produced entirely mercury-free.

The suggested retail price for the e2219Ph is £169,00. It is expected to be available by the middle of December 2011. The e2436Pa will enter the market in mid-end November at a retail price of £199,00.
